Visit from a Friend

Last weekend our dear friend Michelle came to visit. She and her hubby Will were our "duplex neighbors" at Fort Rucker. It was wonderful to see her! On Friday we went to the Dickens holiday downtown. We enjoyed some music, strolling up and down the street, and a water ice from Rita's. There were also characters from a Christmas Carol walking up and down the street in character... Scrooge was being followed by the ghost of Jacob Marley and the various ghosts of past, present, and future were also around. They also had a neat Victorian Santa in a sleigh.

Saturday night Michelle and I enjoyed a Margarita and a Strawberry Daiquiri and played Monopoly. We had a great time... even though she "accidentally" cheated a little! haha She won by quite a bit.
